Kate Made Co. started from an entrepreneurial drive, a love for the environment and a passion for thrift shopping. She learned how to use a sewing machine to make her first scrunchie and the rest is history! From day one, she's been making her scrunchies from repurposed fabrics - the thrill of thrifting and finding a high quality piece of fabric never gets old for her!
The inspiration of her brand derives from the colours, calmness and warmth of the beach, being environmentally aware and her passion for supporting fellow entrepreneurs.
Her mom, Kathy, known as the "Momolator" for delivering local orders is a constant support in helping keep up with demand. She's a hardworking, creative, scrunchie making mom!
Her sister, Alex, also known as the packer, shipper and part time photographer is an amazing help!
